08.16.10 "Rock Island Sessions" Video coming soon, more news.
•An accompanying video will be available for viewing soon for The Rock Island Sessions EP. The video features imagery from Rock Island, TN, Brien's narration explaining the songs and their relationship to the piano, and much much more. The short film will be made available here and on Brien's Facebook and MySpace profiles.
•August's Summer of Stuff Giveaway- This month's prize is the limited edition USB Flash Drive containing the complete Brien Travis discography including The Rock Island Sessions EP. Last month's winner, Michael Jones of Savannah, GA, won the framed & signed 8 X 10 print of Brien's Rock Island photography.
•Brien Travis, the actor? Brien is headed to the silver screen to portray a bar owner in Phillip Giabani's next film project "The 2nd Ave Knights", a fiction bio-pic about a struggling Nashville blues band. The film will also feature a new Brien Travis song. Look for the film to debut in 2011.

Releases August 31st!
Fitting as the soundtrack to the ending of the summer season, Cherry Squared Entertainment and iTunes will release "The Rock Island Sessions-iTunes Originals EP" on August 31st. This 5 song EP features four fan favorites performed as an acoustic set and will also serve up the new single, "California" from the next full length album. It will be sold exclusively through iTunes as a digital download and BrienTravis.com on limited edition CD. Check back August 1st for the track listing and a new interview with Brien about the recording of his first iTunes Originals collection.

06.30.10 - A Vanishing South All through out the summer, Brien will be photographing his hometown area as well as the rest of Tennessee for his upcoming photography book, "A Vanishing South". The book is planned to have a 2011 retail release, with an option to purchase prints this fall from The Speakeasy store.
